Ubiquity coolness
It’s as though the Mozilla guys knew that Google was cooking up Chrome and wanted to make sure that Chrome didn’t steal all their glory. So about a week ago, they gave us Ubiquity. If you need to know why Ubiquity is cool, I’ll let their page do the talking. But, if you already think it’s cool, and have it installed, you should visit RubyURL.
I took a quick break from working on Boxcar stuff today and, after a bit of hacking and a RubyURL API update (generously provided by Robby), we now have a working Ubiquity command for RubyURL. How easy is it to use? Well, take a look:

Feature request!?!
It’d be great if there was a command for RubyURL that would post the current page URL to the RubyURL and either a) put it in the paste buffer or b) take me to the RubyURL page where I can copy it to my buffer.
The current inline option is nice but I find that I’m more often seeking the ability to create a short url for the current page to send to someone via IM/IRC.
(basically, seeking something similar to the bookmarklet we provide on rubyurl.com)
