More bomb silliness
Ok, this is just sad. Jim Samples, general manager and executive VP of Cartoon Network resigned today because of the fiasco surrounding the now-infamous Boston bomb-scare caused by their guerilla advertising campaign. After 13 years, he’s gone because we are afraid. Of what? Everything! Lets go and bomb somebody before they get us first! Run for your lives! And to think I used to wonder why we ever re-elected Bush. We live in a paranoid world where monsters lurk around every corner, where terrorists live under our beds, and where God kills kittens if we touch ourselves.
While the minority of people who actually have a brain no doubt find this all silly, we’re still living in a world controlled by the terrified, conservative majority. Hell, come to think of it, maybe Bill O’Reilly and his right-wing friends are actually working with the terrorists. What better way to bring fear, paranoia, and good-old-fashioned “American values” back to this “nation of degenerates”.
